Biography

I am an artist and designer with a natural born interest in art.  I am self-taught and have had lessons in a variety of places.  I paint in any painting medium, but I prefer acrylic on art paper or canvas.  Landscapes, Louisiana art, birds, houses, and boats are my favorite subjects to paint.  I love gathering paints and supplies and combining them to create painting ideas from magazines, photos etc.   I also enjoy teaching art.

I have been placing my art in various places since 1960.  I am continuously expanding to as many places as possible.  I am featured in Terrebonne, Lafourche, and St. Mary Parishes.  And occasionally I have displayed and sold my art in the New Orleans vicinity.  I am a member of the Terrebonne Art Guild, the Artist Guild Unlimited in Morgan City, and the Laurel Valley Plantation Store.  My art works are displayed at art galleries and occasionally displayed at the Terrebonne Parish Government Office or Griffin Restaurant. In addition I have enjoyed consignment businesses and selling my art at Flea markets, Farmer’s markets, and craft shows.
